Exterior Applications
Heavy grade conduits for static and dynamic applications
• Excellent flexibility and outstanding resistance to weather at low and high temperatures.
• Very good mechanical resistance and impact strength.
• They can be used underneath the railcar, on the wagon rooftop, for inter-car jumpers, couplers and bogies.
Connectors
Connectors with strain relief are available in Metric, PG or NPT, with either Metal or Nylon threads. They are ideal for dynamically loaded connections and increased ingress protection requirements between dry and wet areas within air conditioning systems, couplings, railcar transitions etc.
For standard connections, the IP68 Metal threaded connectors are available in Metric or PG and their increased ingress protection and robust thread interfaces can be used for bogies, couplings, brake systems etc.
Female threaded connectors with metric, PG or UNEF threads are offered for round pin plug connections. Transitions to steel tube are also available.
Protection against high pressure jets (1600 psi, 200 bar pressure) at the conduit/fitting connection is attainable for NW 10 through to NW48.
 Interior Applications
Medium grade conduits for static applications and occasionally flexing applications
• Excellent self-extinguishing properties.
• Comply with highest International smoke and toxicity requirements in case of fire.
• They can be used in the wagon rooftop & passenger zone.
Connectors
IP68 connectors are available with polyamide or metal thread, in metric, PG or NPT and are ideal for passenger zones, driver‘s cab, etc.
IP66 connectors are available with polyamide thread, in metric or PG or NPT and can be used for passenger zones, driver‘s cab and general indoor application areas.
Braided hose manufactured from polyamide or polyester, allows bundling and protection of electrical wiring within narrow installation areas within passenger zone, driver‘s cab, etc.
